Su gusto por el arte inicio desde muy temprana edad con la técnica del dibujo, siendo sus mentores el reconocido acuarelista Román Watercolor y su tío Ulises Rivera, actualmente su técnica es el acrílico. Es un artista visual y muralista, sus obras son modernas y elegantes. Su trabajo ha sido reconocido demostrando sus habilidades para crear murales que armonicen con decoraciones en diferentes espacios y pintando obras hermosas. Title A name given to the resource Identidad y Evolución Description An account of the resource Julio Sanabria es un pintor hondureño que nació en el municipio de Siguatepeque, departamento de Comayagua, Honduras; realizo sus estudios de secundaria en dicho municipio. En 1990 se traslada al pueblo típico de Valle de Ángeles, F.M. donde estudia talla en madera en el Centro de Adiestramiento Artesanal de Valle de Ángeles “C.A.A.V.A.” obteniendo el título de “Maestro de Talla en Madera” en el año de 1991. En el año 1997 decide incursionar en el campo de la pintura, para ello hizo uso de libros que le ayudaron a descubrir su propia técnica y estilo lo que lo hace una artista de la plástica Hondureña autodidacta. Sus obras se caracterizan por los vivos colores con rasgos de la cultura maya, flora y fauna hondureña. En cuanto a su técnica el artista utiliza mixta en acrílico, madera, lienzo, raíces, piedra y materiales diversos. Dentro de su experiencia Julio Sanabria ha realizado exposiciones individuales en el entorno nacional e internacional, dentro de las cuales se encuentran: Como era antes, Valle de Ángeles (2016), Evolución artística y riqueza catracha, Valle de Ángeles, Comayagua y Tegucigalpa (2014), Joyas Nacionales, Tegucigalpa (2013), V Festival Internacional de la Poesía, Granada Nicaragua (2009). Title A name given to the resource Del alma de una mujer Description An account of the resource Keyla Morel, nació en 1974 en Tegucigalpa, Honduras, donde cursó todos sus estudios hasta obtener su Licenciatura en Mercadotecnia en Unitec. Posteriormente en 1997 incursionó en el arte, siendo denominada artista autodidacta y desarrollando una exposición permanente en la galería Tríos ubicada en Tegucigalpa. Su especialidad en la pintura son los rostros, donde predominan las mujeres y los niños y por esto es considerada retratista; destaca que plasmar rostros se dio de manera natural desde su primera infancia; de alguna forma y tal vez por la influencia de su madre y otras figuras femeninas, ella perfeccionó la técnica de dibujar y luego se enfocó en pintar mujeres y niños. Al inicio, creó muchas obras que reflejaban la sociedad hondureña de una manera bastante gráfica; recurriendo a modelos de raza negra de la etnia Garífuna (un grupo de afrodescendientes que habitan en la costa norte de Honduras) e indígenas, sobre todo a los Lencas que habitan en la zona del departamento de Intibucá. En sus obras es posible contemplar los colores tropicales con los que siempre ha estado en contacto por vivir y crecer en un país tropical, donde la mayoría del arte local está lleno de tonos cálidos y alegres. Sin embargo, ha añadido a su trabajo una combinación de acrílicos, pinturas fluidas, óleo soluble en agua y algunos elementos como la lámina de oro y la de plata para darle un sentido de realeza, dignidad y valor a las figuras que plasma con su pincel, donde confluyen varios estilos tanto figurativos como del realismo mágico, por tanto, el arte de ella no puede encasillarse en un solo rubro. En cuanto a exposiciones, Keyla ha participado a nivel nacional e internacional en distintos certámenes: en Honduras (1997, 2000, 2001, 2004, 2018 y 2019), El Salvador (2001, 2004), Estados Unidos (2003, 2005 y 2015), Brasil (2008), Taiwán (2009), Corea (2009) República Dominicana (2017), Austria (2018, 2020), Italia (2019), República Checa. (2019), La India (2020). En la Exposición de Corea, fue seleccionada para formar parte del compendio de artistas contemporáneos de Latinoamérica en representación de Honduras. Actualmente es miembro de la Academia Mundial de Arte, se desempeña como columnista del diario La Tribuna en Honduras y es propietaria y directora de la Academia de Arte Keyla Morel.
