Estudió en el Centro de Diseño, Arquitectura y Construcción (CEDAC) donde obtuvo la Licenciatura en Diseño Gráfico. Pinta desde la infancia, aunque por muchos años relegó esta actividad a un pasatiempo. Fue hasta el 2012 cuando decidió dedicarse profesionalmente a este campo; desde entonces, no ha dejado de cosechar éxitos hasta alcanzar una audiencia internacional. Su trabajo pictórico es una representación de un mundo que existe en algún lugar entre el cielo y la tierra. Su mayor inspiración viene de las mujeres de su familia a través de varias generaciones. Por tal razón, en sus obras la mujer es la principal protagonista. La retrata con rasgos fuertes y etéreos, su cabello largo sobrepasa el lienzo y parece flotar; representando la conexión de la mujer con lo divino. Emplea una técnica mixta en la que utiliza diversos materiales como acrílicos, óleos, marcadores y su característica pintura dorada u oro líquido con el que crea un efecto de luminosidad en sus cuadros. Leticia ha expuesto su trabajo en los principales centros culturales de Honduras y Centroamérica, así como en México, Estados Unidos, Brasil, Dubái y la Republica Checa. Como él lo expresa "artista del mundo, pero representante Catracho". Se considera a sí mismo un artista que resalta las expresiones sentimentales intrínsecas en sus obras de arte; destacando una especie de romanticismo moderno y figurativo. Title A name given to the resource Entre arcillas y colores Description An account of the resource David Pineda nació en Siguatepeque, Comayagua en 1970, realizó sus estudios de arte en la Universidad Pedagógica Francisco Morazán (UPNFM) y en la Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes (ENBA) en la carrera de Arte, surge como artista de la plástica a principios de la década de los 90. Desde el comienzo de su carrera como artista se ha identificado por un estilo vanguardista, moderno, lleno de color y de formas propias de su pintura, entre los que se encuentran coloridos caballos y perros, sin dejar de lado la figura humana estilizada, la cual lleva al lienzo con sus características propias. Su técnica es el acrílico sobre lienzo, empastado y aplicado con la espátula, abundante color y de tendencia impresionista.  Sus temas son diversos, trata las vivencias del ser humano en una sociedad moderna, entre los que se destacan, el amor, sus alegrías, sus miedos y todo lo que a este le afecte como ser social. Su obra se caracteriza por el uso de colores vibrantes, destacando la figura femenina; adornada de flores y plumajes y acompañada por las selvas y montañas del paisaje hondureño como fondo. Un elemento básico en su composición es la presencia de frutas como representación de la vida, la esperanza y movimiento. Con 54 exitosos años de carrera artística, es considerado hoy en día, como uno de los máximos exponentes de la plástica hondureña.
