Su obra se caracteriza por el uso de colores vibrantes, destacando la figura femenina; adornada de flores y plumajes y acompañada por las selvas y montañas del paisaje hondureño como fondo. Un elemento básico en su composición es la presencia de frutas como representación de la vida, la esperanza y movimiento. Con 54 exitosos años de carrera artística, es considerado hoy en día, como uno de los máximos exponentes de la plástica hondureña. En el 2018 fue galardonado por el Gobierno hondureño con el “Premio Nacional de Arte Pablo Zelaya Sierra” y “la Hoja de Laurel en Oro en el 2009. Ha participado en más de cien exposiciones en el país y en el exterior. Sus obras se exhiben permanentemente en diversos salones internacionales, como el Museo de las Américas, en Washington D.C.
